William Ahmad Dobbs
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Associate
William serves as DEI associate at Culture Shift Team. His work includes conducting research for clients, working collaboratively to produce video and graphic content, and researching projects. William joined CST in a full-time capacity beginning August 1, 2022 after serving one year as a department intern. William’s focus is on incorporating the latest technology platforms to provide clients with the best ways to collect employee and member voices, analyze data, and provide accessible and actionable data visualization. Additionally, he brings a well-rounded skill set in facilitation, content creation, and event programming. William infuses his passion and care for people into this position as he helps CST make the world a more inclusive place to live and work.
William is a recent graduate from the University of Michigan's Gerald R. Ford School with a bachelor of arts degree in Public Policy. During his undergrad years, he worked as a Diversity Peer Educator at the University of Michigan. This experience, as well as his time on the Ford School's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion coalition, helped him gain valuable and practical field experience which he brings to CST.
Outside of academia, William has interned in both the legal and nonprofit sectors, with recent work in the field of international humanitarian development. His skills across these fields have developed with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. William is a member of and an activist in the Arab American/Muslim American community.
