Project Manager and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Specialist
Originally from Detroit, Morgan began working with CST as a reflective dialogue host and now works on our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion projects team assisting with data collection and analysis. She also has a significant role with CST’s multicultural marketing projects, assisting with marketing research, data collection and community outreach. As a project manager, she has a wide variety of responsibilities depending on the client and project, including coordinating with team members for on-going project work and completion of tasks, coordinating reflective listening sessions, focus groups, and creating reports for clients.
Morgan is a graduate of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where she majored in Sociology with a Law, Justice, and Social Change sub-plan. For most of her undergraduate career, she served as a Diversity Peer Educator, operating in residence halls as a resource to counsel students in matters surrounding diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice. She uses these experiences now to provide insights on how to make our work effective in non-profit spaces. These insights proved particularly effective in our recent work with TICUA and its ACT for Equity program. Her interest in educational and economic equity led her to explore the nonprofit sector, both as a volunteer and employee for various organizations in southeast Michigan. While in these positions, Morgan specialized in group facilitation, event programming, and digital content creation.
