Corporate Social Responsibility Intern
Katherine Koonce is a senior at the University of Tennessee pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a minor in Italian and a concentration in international business. She speaks Spanish, Italian, and is hoping to learn at least 5 languages.
Growing up in Nashville, she experienced first-hand the knowledge and education that comes from living and studying in a diverse community. This experience at MLK HS, one of the most diverse high schools in the nation, inspired her to join a scholars program that values diversity and equity at the school of business and in the global study abroad program in London. She has experience working on environmental justice projects in Nashville and a philanthropic campaign in London to help refugees integrate into society through employment. She previously interned with the Nashville Mayor's Office and the TN Department of Transportation.
She will be working as a Corporate Social Responsibility Intern and will be helping CST with sustainability strategies, incorporating ESG into business planning, and preparing for the B-Corp application process.
