A native of Medellin, Colombia, Alexandra brings a dynamic and inclusive leadership style to her role as Multicultural Marketing agent and to her involvement in the community. Her experience includes brand concept development, strategic communications, inbound and outbound marketing, event development, and corporate public relations. She has played an active role in some of Memphis’ most influential events, committees, boards, and fundraisers. Alex was awarded the 2015 Memphis Elite Eleven Award.
Tisch brings a driven leadership style for diversity and inclusion, which is represented by her extensive involvement and volunteerism in the Memphis community. Her experience includes numerous start-up ventures, strategy development, event development, and major business initiatives. She has played an important role in some of Memphis’ most notable events, committees, boards, and fundraisers. Tisch was awarded the 2016 George Mabon HR Executive of the Year Award and the 2017 HR Lifetime Achievement Award by SHRM-Memphis, and the 2015 HCM Partner of the Month by Ceridian.
Carlos J. Martinez G. has put his expertise in process management to work in a variety of sectors, from finance to manufacturing to technology. He currently provides web and mobile app development advice, along with process optimization guidance, through his Franklin, Tenn.-based consultancy, Big Hub Solutions. Carlos is professionally certified in GitHub and Google Analytics. Born and raised in Colombia, Carlos carries a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, a graduate certificate in finance and advanced certifications from the Tennessee Language Center.
Ashford Hughes Sr.
Ashford Hughes Sr. is the former Chief, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer for the city of Nashville and Davidson County. In this role, he worked to develop and implement the diversity, equity and inclusion goals across Metro Government and lead the city’s efforts to attract, develop, promote, and retain a diverse government workforce at all levels.
He also oversaw improvements to the city’s procurement practices and policies that lead to the passage of Nashville historic Equal Business Opportunity Program stemming from the cities 2018 Disparity Study.
Ashford is currently the Principal and Founder of Blueprint Solutions Group LLC; a consulting firm focused on government relations, business inclusion, political strategy and community relations that incorporate diversity, equity and inclusion principals.
Juan Reyes directs Culture Shift Team’s media relations, event planning and community outreach in Puerto Rico. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Reyes has opened and managed restaurants in San Juan, P.R., and Nashville, Tenn., where he lived for seven years before returning to Puerto Rico in May 2019.
Reyes’ extensive contact list and on-the-ground presence provides an inside track for clients seeking to enter the Puerto Rican market and achieve sustainable growth.
Esteban Pedraza is an American filmmaker and editor of Colombian descent. He graduated with a BFA in Film and Television from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
In 2020, Esteban has directed fashion runway show films for Yeezy and Palm Angels. As a film editor, he is currently represented by Forager.tv in New York and has worked on numerous narrative, documentary and commercial projects. Clients include Yeezy, Ford, Samsung, ESPN+, 1800 Tequila, American Express, Marriott, Away, Les Mills, Fila, and LA Lakers.
His latest short film, "The Nurturing," stars Lauren E. Banks from Showtime's City on a Hill. It is set to be on the festival circuit in the latter half of 2020.
